Youth at St Andrew’s

At St Andrew’s Youth, we want young people to know Jesus, find a community where they feel welcomed and valued, and grow into confident, mature disciples.

Through teaching, worship, prayer, and opportunities to serve, we encourage young people to explore faith, build genuine relationships and live out their faith in everyday life!

  • If you’re in Years 7-13, we’d love for you to join us on Thursday evenings for snacks, drinks, games and building community.

    Thursdays are a space to encounter Jesus, build community and grow deeper in faith. Join us for games, Bible and Community

    Every Thursday during term time from 7-8.30pm

  • Every Sunday, our young people step out of the main service to have breakfast, play games, and to explore faith, identity, and discipleship as followers of Jesus.

⭐️Focus on Jesus

Jesus is at the centre of everything we do. The goal isn’t to entertain or keep young people busy, but to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, help them to encounter Him, know him personally and follow him in their everyday lives.

We want young people to discover:

  • Who Jesus is

  • What He has done for them

  • What it means to follow Him

⭐️Build Community

We believe people were created for relationships - with God and with one another. Therefore we want St Andrew’s Youth to be a place where young people:

  • Experience a safe place where they are welcomed and valued

  • Build genuine friendships and a strong sense of belonging

  • Learn to encourage, support and journey with one another as they explore faith

⭐️Nurture Mature Faith

We are created to walk with Jesus through our lives, to be disciples. Our goal is that young people wouldn’t just come to church, but that they would be mature disciples of Jesus - rooted and active in their faith.

We want them to:

  • Know and confidently apply Scripture to everyday life

  • Develop a personal relationship with God through prayer and worship

  • Serve others with the gifts and opportunities God has given them

  • Live out their faith confidently beyond the walls of the church
