In 2024, we opened St Andrew’s Centre - a space for the community of Charminster to gather together.

Common Ground Cafe

Common Ground Cafe launched in 2024 as a space for the people of Charminster to come together and build community and relationship with one another. Common Ground serves as a welcoming hub where everyone can connect over great coffee and conversation.

The Alpha Course

  • Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each week, we will host a talk looking at a different question around faith, designed to create conversation and allow you to ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask. 

  • Alpha is for anyone. It’s a place to discuss thoughts and questions in a friendly and informal environment. There are no questions off limits and you can join in as much or as little as you’d like.

  • We will meet together across a number of weeks, share a meal and watch a short video on the session. There is then an opportunity to discuss what we watched, ask questions and share thoughts in a small group. You don’t have to attend every session and there is no charge for the course.

  Tots at St Andrew’s

Join us every Wednesday during term time for our Tots sessions! Tots is open to parents and carers of little one's between 0-4 years. The cafe is open so come along for coffee, cake, snacks and lots of fun!

St Andrew’s  Youth

Welcome to St Andrew’s Youth!

SAY exists to nurture mature faith, focus on Jesus, and build a strong, loving community for young people.

  • Our Youth Café is a space to hang out, enjoy games, and grow friendships in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

    Every Monday during term time from 3.30-5pm

  • If you’re in years 7-13, we’d love for you to join us on Thursday evenings for snacks, drinks, games and building community.

    Every Thursday during term time from 7-9pm

  • Three Sundays a month, we step out of the main service to have breakfast, play games, and to explore faith, identity, and discipleship as followers of Jesus. On the fourth Sunday, young people serve in different areas of the church, putting their faith into action.
